The Catchment Environmental Education, or CATCHee, Hub is a portal to environmental resources for teachers of primary and secondary schools. Most resources have been developed to match the NSW or National Curriculum to make them easy to use in any classroom.
Come and explore what’s on offer…you never know what you might find!
Schools across the region
The Border Rivers-Gwydir Catchment Management Authority (CMA) currently supports 60 primary, central and secondary schools across its region with resources and activities.
We are also able to provide natural resource management advice to schools from across northern NSW.

"Our Farmers, Our Future" Enviro-Stories Education Program
The Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA, along with the Cotton Catchment Communities CRC and Central West CMA are supporting the Enviro-Stories Education Program. The theme is "Our Farmers, Our Future" to help celebrate the Australian Year of the Farmer and we are also supporting the National Year of Reading. We are looking for students to use their imagination and write and illustrate stories about 'Life on the Farm'. Stories can be from a human, plant or animal perspective or about events that occur on farms. Students have a chance to go in the running to get their book published. Click on the "button" to find out how you or your students can be involved. Entries close 29 June 2012.
Request an activity
